Callaghan 74200 Nubuck Loafer in Brown

This Callaghan men's loafer in brown nubuck (model 74200) is as easy as shoes get: slip your foot in and off you go. The leather lace threaded round the heel gives it a relaxed, boat-shoe feel, and it's built for people who spend a good part of the day on their feet.

Materials and comfort

The upper is nubuck leather, with a soft, matte, slightly velvety finish that develops character the more you wear it. Contrast stitching around the apron toe and the collar adds a handmade look, while the darker panel at the back breaks up the brown nicely. Callaghan's Adaptaction system is marked on both the insole and the sole; it's designed to move with your foot as it spreads when you walk. The sole has a pattern of rounded studs for grip and lets the shoe bend naturally with each step. The insole is removable, which is handy if you use your own orthotics or simply want to air it out.

Fit

How to wear it

Care

Brush the nubuck dry with a soft brush and treat it with a nubuck protector before the first wear. If it gets wet, let it dry at room temperature, away from radiators and direct sun, and stuff it with paper so it keeps its shape.
