The Birkenstock Arizona Graceful Pearl White gives the classic two-strap sandal a brighter look: a soft off-white with a gentle pearly sheen that lifts summer outfits without shouting about it.

Materials and comfort

The upper is Birko-Flor, Birkenstock's own synthetic material, which is hard-wearing and very easy to wipe clean, finished here with a subtle shimmer that catches the light as you walk. Underneath sits the contoured cork-latex footbed, lined with suede where your foot rests. It has a deep heel cup and built-in arch support, so your foot feels held rather than sliding around. Expect it to feel firm at first; over time the cork moulds to the shape of your foot. The EVA sole is light and flexible, ideal for town, the promenade or a day out. Made in Germany.

Fit

The two straps adjust independently with copper-toned metal buckles, so you can set the fit across the instep and toes separately. As an open-back slide, it's easy to slip on and off.

How to wear them

Pearl white goes with almost everything: turned-up jeans, cream linen trousers, midi skirts or shirt dresses. They look particularly good with sand, beige and navy, and make a fresher summer alternative to the black or brown Arizona for life on the Costa del Sol.
