Materials and comfort

The upper, footbed and sole are all made from EVA, a light, flexible synthetic material. Birkenstock describes the sandal as a single piece, so there are no seams or separate lining to soak up water or take ages to dry. The brand also lists it as washable and water-resistant: simply rinse with water and a mild soap, then leave to dry in the shade.
