The Birkenstock Arizona EVA in black (style code 129423) keeps the familiar Arizona shape, with its two wide straps, but is made entirely from EVA, a light, slightly cushioned material. It's a flat, backless slide for summer days on the Costa del Sol: a stroll along the seafront, lunch on a terrace, or simply padding about at home.

Materials and comfort

According to Birkenstock's official product page, the upper, footbed and outsole are all EVA, and the sandal is made in Germany. The footbed has the brand's typical contoured shape, with support under the arch and a defined toe area, while the EVA softens each step. The photos show a well-treaded sole and a smooth, uniform finish throughout, with no visible stitching.

Fit

Each strap has its own adjustable pin buckle, so you can set the toe strap and the instep strap independently. It's worth trying a few positions until your foot feels secure without pinching, especially if your feet are on the slim or wider side.
