Mephisto Paris Leather Sandal in Black

The Mephisto Paris black sandal is a women's leather sandal made for everyday walking in warm weather, with adjustable straps and a low heel that's easy on the feet all day.

Design

The upper is built around three straps: one across the toes, one crossing the instep diagonally and a back strap around the heel. All three fasten with touch-and-close tabs and small metal rings, so you can fine-tune each area separately. The black leather has a subtle fine-textured finish that lifts it slightly without making it fussy.

Materials and comfort

Inside, it's lined in leather, which makes a real difference on hot days when feet tend to get clammy. The footbed is Mephisto's SOFT-AIR insole, designed to cushion each step, and the brand adds a shock-absorbing system in the heel too. Please note the footbed isn't removable. The rubber sole has a patterned tread for grip, and the 2.5 cm heel gives just enough lift to keep your stride comfortable.

Fit

It's a standard-width fit. With three separate straps, it adapts well to slimmer feet, higher insteps and feet that swell a little by the end of the day. The back strap keeps your heel secure, so the sandal stays put as you walk.
