Birkenstock Arizona 51753 sandals in blue

The Birkenstock Arizona blue sandals are the classic two-strap slide that has been a summer staple for decades. This version, reference 51753, pairs an easy-to-wear deep blue with the cork footbed the brand is known for.

Materials and comfort

The upper is made from Birko-Flor, Birkenstock's own synthetic material. It copes well with everyday wear, doesn't mind a splash by the pool and wipes clean with a damp cloth. The cork-latex footbed is anatomically shaped, so it gradually moulds to your foot the more you wear it. It's lined with suede, which feels soft against bare skin on hot days.

Underneath is an EVA sole: light, flexible and cushioning whether you're on pavement, the promenade or tiled floors. It's a flat sandal made for walking comfortably for hours.

Fit

Each of the two straps has its own metal pin buckle, so you can adjust the toe area and the instep independently. Being backless, they slip on and off in seconds. They're made in Germany.
