Materials and comfort

The upper is smooth black natural leather that looks understated and picks up character as you wear it. Underneath sits the brand's signature cork and latex footbed, anatomically shaped with a raised arch, a toe grip and a deep heel cup that keeps your foot in place. The footbed is lined in suede, so it feels soft against bare skin. The EVA sole is light and flexible, ideal for pottering around town or a long walk along the seafront. They are made in Germany.

Fit

Each strap has its own metal pin buckle, so you can set the instep and toe straps independently until the fit feels right. The footbed is firm to begin with; over the first weeks the cork moulds to the shape of your foot and the sandals get more comfortable with every wear.
