These Hispanitas heeled mule sandals are made to be noticed: the upper is covered in woven flowers and swirls in lime green, soft yellow and fuchsia, set on a burgundy base and heel. There are no buckles or heel straps, so you simply slip them on.

Materials and comfort

The upper is textile, worked like an open embroidery so your feet stay cool on hot days. The footbed is goatskin leather and, according to Hispanitas, features their Triflow technology, with triple padding where your foot takes the most pressure. The thermoplastic polyurethane sole is light and flexible enough for town.

Heel and fit

The 7 cm heel is a wide block with a wood-effect finish, so it feels far steadier than a slim heel. The last has a rounded, roomy forefoot, giving your toes space rather than squeezing them. As they're backless, your foot is held by the two bands across the front, so it's worth walking around in them to check they hold your instep well.

How to wear them

With this much colour, let the shoes do the talking: a white or ecru dress, beige linen separates, or light denim with a loose shirt all work beautifully. If you like a coordinated look, pick up the green or fuchsia in a top or bag. Care

As the upper is textile, clean it dry with a soft brush or a barely damp cloth, without rubbing. Avoid getting them wet and store them somewhere dry, taking care not to crush the flowers.
