The Pikolinos Segovia trainers in clay leather are the kind of shoe you slip on in the morning and forget about until bedtime. This is model W5P-6884C2, a smart-casual trainer made for walking around town.
The upper is cowhide leather with a hand-burnished finish that deepens towards the toe and sides, set off by a lighter tan heel panel. Inside you'll find a textile lining and a removable memory foam insole (as the brand calls it) that moulds to your foot and cushions the arch and heel. The synthetic sole is designed to be lightweight, stands 3.5 cm high and has deep grooves for grip on pavements and cobbles.
Instead of traditional laces, the Segovia uses stretch laces with an adjustable toggle on the side. Set them once and you can simply pull the shoes on and off without tying them every day. The rounded toe leaves room for your toes, and you can take the insole out if you prefer to wear your own.
The clay colour sits somewhere between burgundy and terracotta, so it pairs nicely with straight or cropped jeans, grey or camel knitwear trousers, and midi skirts with socks. On the Costa del Sol they work just as well with a light jacket in autumn as with chinos and a T-shirt in spring. A more characterful choice than the usual brown trainer, without giving up the comfort you need for a long day on your feet.
We don't have guidance from the manufacturer on how this model fits, so we'd suggest your usual Pikolinos size. If you're unsure, give us a ring or drop us an email and we'll help. Your first size exchange is free and you have 30 days to return them.
No. They have stretch laces with an adjustable toggle on the side, so once you've set the fit you can slip them on and off without untying them.
Yes, it is. You can take it out to air it or swap in your own insole; if you wear orthotics, we recommend checking the fit before wearing them every day.
The upper is cowhide leather, the lining is textile and the sole is synthetic. Wipe them with a damp cloth, let them dry away from direct heat and use a nourishing leather cream in a matching shade now and then to keep the colour rich.
