Design

The upper mixes open off-white mesh with light grey overlays in a soft matt finish, edged with dark brown stripes and small silver accents. The Atom logo sits on the side, the tongue and the insole. There's a fabric pull tab at the heel to help you slip them on, and a padded collar that holds the ankle neatly.

Sole and step

The midsole is tall and generous, in a pale greenish grey that softens the overall look. Underneath, a dark outsole carries square lugs across the whole sole and a raised contour pattern. They look ready for the hills, but they really come into their own day to day: pavements, strolls along the seafront, errands or a long day of sightseeing.

Fit
