Cetti C-848 casual leather trainers in navy blue

The Cetti C-848 navy trainers are a men's casual shoe in leather with a worn-in finish, made for people who are on their feet a lot and want something that goes on and off easily. The shape nods to a classic retro runner, but the materials are those of a proper leather shoe.

Materials and comfort

The leather upper mixes perforated panels on the sides and toe with distressed-look sections in shades of navy, so they look nicely lived-in from day one. The perforations let air move through the shoe, which makes a real difference on a hot day on the Costa del Sol. Inside there's a leather lining that feels soft against the foot, plus a removable insole you can take out to air or swap for your own orthotic.

Fit and sole

They fasten with elastic laces and an adjustable toggle: set them to your fit once and then simply slip them on and off without untying. The rubber outsole has chunky lugs that grip well on pavements and cobbles, and the two-tone white and blue midsole finishes off the retro look.

How to wear them

Wipe the leather with a soft, slightly damp cloth and let them dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. A leather conditioner every now and then helps keep the material supple. After a long day, take the insole out so it can breathe.
