The Hispanitas Maui sport sandal in Sky Blue is a cheerful summer pick: soft pastel straps, a braided strap bursting with colour and a platform that gives you a little lift while keeping your step steady.

Design and details

The straps mix sage green, soft yellow and sky blue in a pebbled finish. Across the foot runs a macramé-style braided cord in orange, green, yellow and cream, which is really what makes this sandal. The footbed is sky blue with the brand logo, and the translucent sole fades into orange, with deep lugs that look built for grip. The outsole carries the brand's Triflow stamp and a 'Made in Spain' mark.

Fit

It fastens with hook-and-loop straps at the ankle and over the instep, so it takes seconds to adjust, which is handy if your feet swell a little in the heat as the day goes on.
