The Fluchos Jeff F2280 ankle boot in coffee brown is a men's boot with a trainer-inspired shape, made for everyday comfort once the weather turns cooler. You may also see it listed as Vegabuck Cafe in some shops: it's the same model. The rounded profile is relaxed and easy to wear, with olive-toned panels on the toe and collar adding a subtle contrast.
The upper is nubuck, a soft, matt leather that softens and develops character over time. Inside, both the lining and insole are textile, and the insole is removable, which is handy if you wear custom orthotics or simply want to air it out. The TR sole has a well-defined tread and a 4 cm heel that lifts you just enough for comfortable walking.
It laces up, so you can adjust it to your instep and to the thickness of your socks. The photos also show a side zip, which makes it quick to slip on and off without undoing the laces every time. Available in EU sizes 40 to 46.
The coffee brown with olive details works nicely with dark denim, stone or khaki chinos and cords. Team it with a chunky knit and a field jacket or parka at the weekend, or a flannel shirt for a relaxed office look. It's a boot to wear day in, day out: the commute, a stroll through town or running errands on crisp autumn and winter days.
We have no guidance from Fluchos on how this model fits, so we'd suggest your usual size. If you're unsure, give us a ring or drop us an email and we'll gladly help. Your first size exchange is free, and you have 30 days to return.
Yes, the insole is removable, so you can swap in your own. We'd recommend checking the fit with your insole in place, as it may take up a little more room.
Use a nubuck brush to remove dust and lift the nap, and treat the boots with a protective spray before wearing them. If they get wet, let them dry naturally, away from radiators.
They have a textile lining rather than a shearling-style one, so they suit mild winters like those on the Costa del Sol. Pair them with thicker socks on colder days.
The heel is 4 cm on a TR sole, comfortable enough for walking all day.
