Pikolinos Viana W7C-8582C1 leather ankle boot in mahogany

The Pikolinos Viana mahogany ankle boot (style code W7C-8582C1) takes the look of a classic hiking boot and puts it on a light, trainer-style sole. It's a leather boot made for everyday life: school runs, strolls along the seafront and long days on your feet.

Materials and comfort

The upper is leather with a burnished mahogany finish, set off by cognac and slate-grey panels around the collar and tongue, where you'll find a stitched leather patch with an embossed logo. Inside there's a textile lining and a removable Memory Foam insole, so you can swap in your own orthotic if you wear one. The synthetic sole is light and two-tone, around 2 cm high, with a defined tread that grips well on town pavements.

Fit

Burgundy laces run through metal speed hooks, just like a walking boot, so you can wear it looser or snugger depending on the day. The photos also show a zip on the inner side, which makes it easy to slip on and off without retying the laces every time. The shaft sits just above the ankle and the padded collar holds the foot without pinching.

How to wear it

The mahogany tone with cognac and grey details looks great with straight or skinny jeans, earthy chinos and a chunky sock peeking out. It also works with knitted midi skirts or wool dresses and thick tights. For cooler days on the Costa del Sol, pair it with a quilted jacket or a navy or mustard wool coat for a warm, relaxed look.
