The Igi & Co 21163 in black nubuck (colour Nero) is a men's style from the Italian label Igi & Co, made for anyone after a smart, understated leather option that works with everyday clothes. We stock it in EU sizes 40 to 46.

Materials

Nubuck is leather with a lightly buffed outer surface, which gives it a soft, almost velvety feel and a matt finish. In black it's discreet and easy to wear, and it hides the scuffs of daily use well. We don't yet have the manufacturer's technical sheet for this code, so we're not listing details such as lining, sole or insole – if there's something specific you'd like to know, just ask and we'll check for you.

How to wear it

Matt black nubuck goes with dark denim, grey or stone chinos and smarter wool trousers. It suits a relaxed weekend look and works just as well with an open-collar shirt and blazer for the office or dinner out on the coast.

Care

To keep nubuck looking its best, brush it dry with a proper nubuck brush and use a protective spray before the first wear and every so often after that. Avoid soaking it and, if it does get wet, let it dry naturally at room temperature, away from radiators and direct sunlight, so the leather doesn't stiffen or fade.
