Women's ankle boots

Women's ankle boots are the pair you reach for once the weather turns: they keep your ankles warm, hold the foot securely and work just as well with jeans, tailored trousers or a dress. Here you'll find Pikolinos and Hispanitas styles in leather and suede, in tan, camel, taupe and beige shades that go with almost everything.

Choose urban boots for getting around town, casual pairs for everyday wear or smarter styles for the office and evenings out. Most are designed for autumn and winter, while a few can be worn all year round.

How to choose your ankle boots

Start with how you'll wear them. If you walk a lot around town, look for a grippy sole and a stable base, either flat or with a low, broad heel. For everyday wear, casual boots with a low shaft and neutral colours are the easiest to style. For work or evenings out, a smarter boot with a moderate heel and clean lines looks polished without sacrificing comfort.

Tan, camel, taupe and beige sit well with denim, black and earthy tones, so one pair can cover a lot of outfits.

Leather or suede

  • Smooth leather: copes better with rain and daily wear, is easy to wipe clean and moulds to your foot over time.
  • Suede: softer to the touch with a matt finish. It's more sensitive to water and marks, so protect it before the first wear.

If your days involve rain or plenty of walking, smooth leather is the practical choice. Suede comes into its own on dry days and with dressier outfits.

Fit and sizing

  • Your heel should feel secure: if it lifts as you walk, it will rub.
  • Leave a little room at the toe so your toes can move without pressure.
  • Check the top of the shaft doesn't dig into your ankle when you bend it.
  • Try them on later in the day, when feet are slightly swollen, with the socks or tights you'll actually wear.

If you're torn between two sizes, call or email us and we'll help you decide.

Care

Wipe leather with a damp cloth and feed it with a suitable cream now and then. Brush suede dry with a suede brush and protect it with a waterproofing spray. If your boots get wet, let them dry at room temperature, away from radiators, and stuff them with paper so they keep their shape.

Delivery and exchanges

Delivery is free to mainland Spain on orders over €79, or you can collect your order from our shop at Calle Peral 10 in Marbella. You have 30 days for exchanges and returns, and your first size exchange is free.
